Nimroz fire causes losses worth 5m afs — Pajhwok

ZARANJ (Pajhwok): A fire has destroyed a truck and caused five million afghanis in financial losses in the capital of southwestern Nimroz province, an official said on Tuesday. Police spokesman Mawlawi Mohammad Qudrat said the fire broke out along the 60-metre road in the 3rd police district of Zaranj, the provincial capital. He added that the truck was destroyed and caused five million afghanis in damage, while another one million afghanis’ worth of property was saved from the blaze. He attributed the fire to technical problems with the vehicle.
