Kunar man arrested for allegedly killing 18-month-old nephew — Pajhwok

ASADABAD (Pajhwok): A man has been arrested for allegedly killing his one-and-a-half-year-old nephew with a shovel during a dispute with his brother in Khas Kunar district of eastern Kunar province. A statement from the Kunar Police said the incident took place on Sunday in the Karmota area of Lotano in Khas Kunar district. The source said that during a dispute between two brothers, one of them struck his one-and-a-half-year-old nephew with a shovel, killing him. The police said the suspect has been arrested and will be handed over to judicial and legal authorities after the completion of the case.
