4 killed in shooting linked to family dispute in Kapisa — Pajhwok

MAHMOOD RAQI (Pajhwok): Four people, including three women and a child, have been killed in a shooting stemming from a family feud in Tagab district of central Kapisa province, police said on Monday. In a statement, the police headquarters said the incident took place in Babarkhwaja Badrab village of the district at around 2:00am on Sunday night. It said Gul Babo, 50, Hajat Bibi, 30, Basnar, 22, and Rafiullah, 12, were killed in the Kalashnikov shooting. Police spokesman Abdul Fattah Faiz told Pajhwok that all four victims were members of the same family. He said initial information indicated that Omarzada, son of Shahzada, 50, a relative of the victims, was suspected of being involved in the incident. He added that Omarzada fled the area after the incident and security forces were trying to arrest him. He said the incident was linked to a family feud, while investigations were ongoing to clarify all aspects of the case.
