Woman killed, 27 injured in Laghman traffic accident — Pajhwok

KABUL (Pajhwok): A woman was killed and 27 others were injured in a traffic accident in eastern Laghman province on Monday, officials said. In a statement, the governor’s office said a truck overturned in the Mashkali Kamar area of Qarghayi district this morning at around 9:00am. It said 27 people, including women and children, were injured in the accident, while a woman was killed. The statement added that the vehicle was travelling from Logar province to Kama district of Nangarhar. Traffic Police Chief Mawlawi Habibullah Mubarez said the injured had been taken to health centres for medical treatment.
