KABUL (Pajhwok): An Iranian parliamentary delegation led by Mohsen Zanganeh, chairman of the Special Commission for Supporting Production of Iran’s parliament, has arrived in Kabul to expand trade and economic relations between the two countries. The Afghanistan-Iran Joint Chamber of Commerce said in a statement on X on Monday that the delegation was received by Kamaluddin Tawhid, head of the chamber. The Iranian parliamentary delegation is scheduled to meet with several officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) during the visit. The meetings will focus on expanding economic and trade cooperation, facilitating relations between the private sectors of the two countries, and increasing bilateral trade, according to the statement. It added that new areas for joint cooperation between Afghanistan and Iran would also be explored.
