Iran warns of retaliation over energy infrastructure attacks — Pajhwok

KABUL (Pajhwok): Hossein Mohebi, spokesman for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has warned that the occupied territories would be turned into “scorched earth” if Iran’s energy infrastructure came under attack, according to media reports. Tasnim news agency quoted Mohebi as saying that Iranian scientists would rebuild any damaged energy infrastructure. However, he warned that attacks on the facilities would displace residents of the occupied territories. The remarks come amid continued tensions over the possibility of attacks on Iran’s energy infrastructure.
