Central bank to auction $16m on Monday — Pajhwok

KABUL (Pajhwok): Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) has announced it will auction $16 million through a competitive bidding process on Monday. In a statement, the central bank said the auction would be held on Monday (July 6) as part of its foreign exchange operations. DAB invited commercial banks, money exchangers and eligible money service providers to participate in the auction. According to the statement, successful bidders will be required to settle their accounts by the end of the auction day.
