KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has inaugurated the third Mawlana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi Exhibition in northern Balkh province to promote domestic products, support local industries and attract investment. In a statement posted on X on Sunday, the ministry said the exhibition was organised by Masih Mohammadi Exhibition Services Company in cooperation with the ministry. The opening ceremony in Mazar-e-Sharif was attended by Balkh Deputy Governor Mawlavi Noor-ul-Hadi Abu Idris, local officials, industrialists and traders. Abu Idris praised Afghan producers for creating employment opportunities and supporting locally made products. He also urged Afghan investors abroad to invest in the country and contribute to economic growth, industrial development and job creation. The ministry said the three-day exhibition, running from 11 to 13 July 2026, features Afghan products displayed across 170 stalls representing various sectors.
