Kabul (Pajhwok): Iran’s Ministry of Health says 38 people have been killed and more than 400 others injured in US attacks on the country during the first 26 days of the month of Saratan. Hossein Kermanpour, head of public relations at the ministry, wrote on X today (Friday) that women and children were among the casualties. He said 38 people had been killed and more than 400 others wounded in the attacks. According to Kermanpour, as of 6:30am on the 26th of Saratan, the number of people injured in the US attacks had exceeded 400, while 38 people had lost their lives. He added that three women and one child were among those killed, while 22 women were among the injured. Kermanpour said 47 of the injured remained hospitalised. Meanwhile, fighting between the United States and Iran continues. The US Central Command (CENTCOM) said it had struck dozens of targets inside Iran last night. In response, Iran’s Army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said they had launched retaliatory attacks on US military bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, Syria and Oman.
