Rain, flash floods expected in 10 provinces: Ministry — Pajhwok

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has warned of possible heavy rainfall, thunderstorms and flash floods in 10 provinces of the country. In a post on its X account on Tuesday, the ministry said heavy rain, thunderstorms and flash floods are expected tomorrow in Nuristan, Kunar, Laghman, Nangarhar, Logar, Maidan Wardak, Paktia, Khost, Paktika and Ghazni provinces. The ministry said rainfall between 10 and 35 millimeters is forecast in different areas. It added that strong winds are also expected in central, eastern, southeastern, southern and western regions, with wind speeds predicted to reach between 50 and 100 kilometers per hour in some areas.
