Bodies of three Afghan migrants killed in Italy repatriated to Afghanistan — Pajhwok

The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation says the bodies of three Afghan migrants who died in a fire in Italy have been transported to Kabul. Italian authorities said in Jawza this year that three Afghans and one Pakistani national had been burned alive inside a vehicle during a deadly attack in Amendolara, in the province of Cosenza in southern Italy. According to reports, the incident occurred at a fuel station. In a statement issued on Saturday, the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation said the bodies of the three Afghan migrants, who died in the fire on 11 Jawza, were transported to Kabul on 5 and 6 Asad. The ministry said the victims were residents of Balkh, Parwan and Nangarhar provinces. According to the statement, they were killed after a Pakistani national set their vehicle on fire because of what the ministry described as a personal dispute. The statement said the ministry assigned three ambulances to transport the bodies from Kabul airport.
