3 killed, 5 injured in Baghlan traffic collision — Pajhwok

KABUL (Pajhwok): Three people have been killed and five others injured in a traffic accident in Pul-i-Khumri, the capital of northern Baghlan province, officials said on Monday. In a statement, the provincial governor’s office said the accident occurred on Sunday in the Hussainkhel area of Pul-i-Khumri city when two Sarach-type vehicles collided. The victims included a man, a woman and a child, while the injured were two men and three children, the statement said. Personnel from the Baghlan police Traffic Department transferred the injured to a nearby health facility for treatment. The governor’s office urged drivers to observe traffic laws and regulations to help prevent similar incidents.
