KABUL (Pajhwok): At least two people were killed and 13 others injured in an explosion in Jaramana, a suburb of the Syrian capital Damascus, the country’s Ministry of Health said. The Associated Press reported that the blast occurred on Thursday on a busy commercial street in Jaramana. Syrian state television, citing an unnamed security official, reported that the explosion was caused by explosives planted inside a passenger vehicle. The Ministry of Health confirmed that two people were killed and at least 13 others wounded in the incident. Eyewitnesses said several passengers were inside the vehicle when the explosion occurred. The blast also shook parts of the busy commercial street. No group has so far claimed responsibility for the explosion.
