KABUL (Pajhwok): Two children have been killed and nine other people, including seven children, injured after drone debris struck a private childcare centre in Russia’s southern Krasnodar region, a media report said on Sunday. The incident occurred on Saturday night, Reuters reported, quoting Krasnodar Governor Veniamin Kondratyev. He said debris also fell on residential buildings and several warehouses caught fire. The attack caused a fire at a logistics hub operated by Russian online retailer Ozon, the company said on Telegram. Meanwhile, officials in Russia’s Stavropol region said a drone attack targeting an industrial area in the city of Nevinnomyssk had been repelled. The report added that Ukraine had increased attacks on logistics centres and warehouses inside Russia in recent months. Meanwhile, Ukrainian officials said three people were killed in a Russian attack on the outskirts of Kharkiv in northeastern Ukraine. The Russia-Ukraine war began in February 2022 and has now entered its fifth year.
