4 killed, 10 injured as bus plunges into ravine in KP — Pajhwok

KABUL (Pajhwok): Four passengers were killed and 10 others injured when a bus fell into a deep ravine near Kalkot Mor on Kalkot Road, about 12 kilometres from Lora police station in Abbottabad district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, officials said. According to Dawn, the accident occurred at around 2:20pm when the bus, travelling from Chubgaraan towards Rawalpindi, plunged into the ravine, allegedly due to rash and negligent driving. SP Havelian Jamilur Rehman said Lora SHO Waheed and other police personnel rushed to the scene after receiving information about the accident. The deceased were identified as 61-year-old Yasmeen and six-year-old Marsia Bibi, both from Chubgaraan; nine-year-old Rabia Bibi of Chubgaraan; and 64-year-old Ghulam Raza of Murree. Police and Rescue 1122 teams shifted the injured, including men, women and children, to hospitals in Rawalpindi and Murree using ambulances and private vehicles.
