14 wounded in gas cylinder blast in rickshaw in Laghman — Pajhwok

KABUL (Pajhwok): Fourteen people have been wounded when a gas cylinder exploded inside a rickshaw in Mehtarlam city, the capital of eastern Laghman province, an official said on Saturday. In a post on his Facebook account, Laghman Governor’s spokesman Abdul Malik Niazi said the incident took place in the Rahmani Square area of Mehtarlam on Friday afternoon. He said initial information indicated that the explosion was caused by a gas cylinder inside a rickshaw, injuring around 14 people. He added that an investigation into the incident was underway.
