Afghanistan sitting volleyball team leaves for Russia — Pajhwok

KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan’s national sitting volleyball team has travelled to Russia to participate in an international competition at the invitation of the Russian Paralympic Federation. In a statement, the National Olympic Committee, Physical Education and Sports said the Afghan team comprises 10 athletes and one coach and will compete against sitting volleyball teams from several countries. The statement said Afghanistan will face the Russian national team in its opening match. The four-day international sitting volleyball competition will feature matches between the Afghan team and teams from other participating countries.
