2 children killed, 5 injured in Logar traffic accident — Pajhwok

PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Two children were killed and five others injured in a traffic accident on the Kabul-Logar highway, an official said on Thursday. Logar Police Command spokesperson Mawlavi Sultan Mohammad Sangin told Pajhwok Afghan News that the accident occurred late on Wednesday in the Syed Habibullah Qala area along the Kabul-Logar highway after a Corolla-type vehicle collided with a rickshaw. He said two children lost their lives and five other people were injured in the crash. Sangin added that traffic management officials in Logar provided first aid to the injured and transferred them to Konjak Hospital for treatment. Officials blamed the accident on driver negligence and failure to follow traffic rules.
