3 brothers killed in Balochistan IED blast — Pajhwok

KABUL (Pajhwok): Three brothers have been killed and a relative injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in Balochistan , police said. Duki Senior Superintendent of Police Mansoor Ahmed Buzdar said the blast occurred when a pickup carrying the victims was crossing a seasonal stream near Killi Bakhtair Khan in Luni tehsil on Sunday. The three brothers were travelling with their relative to their agricultural land when the remotely controlled IED exploded, killing the brothers on the spot and injuring their relative. The pickup was also destroyed. Police said the explosives had been planted by unidentified individuals and an investigation was underway.
