KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation (MoRR) says 389 Afghan refugees have returned to Afghanistan after being released from Pakistani prisons this week. In a statement, the ministry said 329 of the returnees entered Afghanistan through the Torkham crossing, while 60 others returned via Spin Boldak in southern Kandahar province. The returnees included families, children, and individuals who had been detained in Pakistan before being released and repatriated to Afghanistan. The ministry added that the returnees received humanitarian assistance before being transported to their respective areas. MoRR said it remains committed to supporting the refugees in their resettlement and helping them rebuild their lives in Afghanistan and contribute to the development of society.
