FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): A water supply network has been inaugurated at a cost of 6.1 million afghanis in Anar Dara district of western Farah province, providing more than 270 families with access to clean drinking water. In a post on X, the Department of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said the network included the drilling of an 80-metre-deep well, construction of a 20-cubic-metre drinking water reservoir, installation of 126 taps and 12 solar panels. It said dozens of people were provided with employment opportunities during the construction of the network. Following its completion, 272 families in Bejok village now have access to clean drinking water.
