KABUL (Pajhwok): Germany has deported 13 Afghans to Kabul on a charter flight, the country’s Interior Ministry said on Wednesday. According to German broadcaster NTV, a spokesperson for the ministry said all those deported were Afghan men who had faced legal proceedings in Germany for “committing crimes”. The spokesperson added that the individuals were transferred to Kabul on a charter flight and the deportation process was completed on Tuesday. Details about their identities, places of residence and sentences have not been disclosed. The German media outlet reported that, with the deportation of these individuals, a total of 263 Afghans have been transferred from Germany to Afghanistan, almost all of whom were “criminals”. This comes as Germany also deported around 30 Afghans to Afghanistan on a charter flight from Leipzig/Halle Airport on August 24 this year.
