26 historical artefacts discovered, seized in Paktika — Pajhwok

KABUL (Pajhwok): Security forces in southeastern Paktika province have discovered and seized 26 historical artefacts and arrested one person in connection with the case. In a statement, the Paktika Police Headquarters said the artefacts were recovered during a search on the Katawaz road in the province. The source said the seized items included statues, lamps, utensils and several other historical objects. Police said one person had also been arrested in connection with the case. The source added that the recovered historical artefacts would be officially handed over to the Paktika Department of Information and Culture for registration and preservation in accordance with relevant procedures.
