Amo Sharks beat Speenghar Tigers by 8 wickets in SCL — Pajhwok

KABUL (Pajhwok): Amo Sharks defeated Speenghar Tigers by eight wickets in the 11th edition of the Shpageeza Cricket League (SCL) at the Rahmat Wali Masroor Cricket Stadium on Saturday. Amo Sharks won the toss and opted to field first, restricting Speenghar Tigers to 167 for seven in their allotted 20 overs. Ismat Alam top-scored for Speenghar Tigers with 42 runs, while Noor Rahman and Ijaz Ahmadzai contributed 28 runs each. For Amo Sharks, Gulbadin Naib took three wickets, while Qais Ahmad and Yamin Ahmadzai claimed two wickets each. In reply, Amo Sharks reached the target in 17.2 overs, losing only two wickets to secure an eight-wicket victory. Imran Mir led the successful chase with an unbeaten 88 runs, while Faisal Shinozada scored 55 runs. In the second match of the day, Boost Defenders won the toss and elected to bat first against Mis-i-Ainak Champions in the SCL.
