Ariana Afghan Airlines’ charter cargo plane arrives in Kabul — Pajhwok

KABUL (Pajhwok): A charter cargo aircraft operated by Ariana Afghan Airlines has arrived in Kabul and will be used to transport commercial goods, the General Directorate of State-Owned Corporations said on Monday. The directorate said in a Facebook post that the B737-300 cargo aircraft arrived at Kabul International Airport today. It said the aircraft has the capacity to transport around 17 tonnes of commercial goods per flight. It added that Ariana Afghan Airlines had signed a one-year contract with Air Charter Express, a company based in the United Arab Emirates, to operate the aircraft. According to the source, the cargo service will enable Afghan traders to transport the country’s products and goods to international markets on time, at lower costs, and in a safe, organised and efficient manner.
