KABUL (Pajhwok): Mullah Enayatullah Shuja, deputy head of the Border Inspections Department of the Ministry of Borders and Tribal Affairs (MoBTA), has called for close monitoring of border issues and timely action to address local needs and challenges during a visit to northern Takhar province. The ministry said on X on Wednesday that Shuja, leading a joint delegation, met with provincial officials, the head of the provincial Borders and Tribal Affairs Department, representatives of the border commissariat and other officials in Dasht-i-Qala district. The ministry said the meeting focused on the situation in border areas, border-related issues, and measures to further improve security and administrative affairs. Shuja heard reports from border officials and held consultations on the situation in the area. He also issued recommendations to improve the management of border affairs and coordination among relevant agencies, stressing that border issues should be closely monitored and timely action taken to address local needs and problems.
