KABUL (Pajhwok): Germany has deported around 30 Afghan nationals to Afghanistan on a charter flight from Leipzig/Halle Airport, German media reported. German public broadcaster Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (MDR) reported that the flight took place on Tuesday, with around 30 Afghan citizens on board. The aircraft departed from Leipzig/Halle Airport and arrived in Afghanistan, according to the report. It said the flight was the second instance of Germany carrying out a group deportation of Afghans, including individuals without criminal records. In August this year, Germany deported 31 Afghan nationals to Kabul, including one person who had no criminal record. German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt confirmed at the time that one of those deported had not been convicted of any crime.
