Jalali arrives in Belarus to expand health cooperation — Pajhwok

KABUL (Pajhwok): Minister of Public Health Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali has arrived in Belarus at the head of a delegation to expand health cooperation, visit health institutions and exchange experiences. In a statement, the ministry said officials from Belarus’s Ministry of Health, led by Deputy Minister Boris Andresiuk, welcomed Jalali and his delegation and described the visit as important for expanding bilateral cooperation. During the visit, Jalali is scheduled to meet with officials of Belarus’s Ministry of Health and visit the Belarusian State Medical University, a state pharmaceutical production company, the Republican Scientific and Practical Centre for Cardiology, the Republican Scientific and Practical Centre for Oncology and Medical Radiology, the Republican Centre for Hygiene, Epidemiology and Public Health, and the City Emergency Clinical Hospital. The ministry said the two sides would also exchange experiences in health services, medical education, pharmaceutical production and specialised healthcare, and explore opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation.
