KABUL (Pajhwok): Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has signed a $299,998 agreement with CARE to provide health services in Balkh province. The ministry said the 11-month agreement aims to improve the quality of healthcare services, increase public access to healthcare and address health needs among residents of Balkh. Under the agreement, 16,875 residents will receive healthcare services through two health centres, while 38 jobs will be created in the health sector. CARE representatives assured that the project would be implemented properly over the 11-month period in line with established standards, with particular attention to addressing the healthcare needs of local residents.
