KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation (MoRR) says 393 Afghan refugees have been released from prisons in Pakistan and returned to Afghanistan this week. In a statement issued today (Thursday), the ministry said the 393 Afghans, who had been detained in Pakistani prisons, returned to the country following their release. According to reports from the transfer departments of provincial refugee and repatriation department, 21 returnees entered Afghanistan through Spin Boldak in Kandahar province, while 372 crossed through Torkham. The ministry said the returnees were provided with humanitarian assistance before being transferred to their respective areas.
