The 13th summit of the Organisation of Turkic States was held in Ankara, the Turkish capital, on Friday under the theme “Turkic Century: Unity in Language, Thought and Deed”, Anadolu reported. It said a joint declaration, titled the Ankara Declaration, was signed at the end of the meeting. The declaration said member states were committed to continuing their joint efforts, including through the Afghanistan Working Group within the OTS framework, to help promote peace, stability and sustainable development in Afghanistan. The report added that the declaration also stressed the importance of regional connectivity and transit projects, including the Trans-Afghan Railway.
