Shoja visits border areas in Badakhshan — Pajhwok

FAIZABAD (Pajhwok): Deputy Minister of Borders and Tribal Affairs Mawlawi Enayatullah Shoja and security and border officials in northeastern Badakhshan province have discussed the situation in border areas and problems faced by residents. In a statement, the Ministry of Borders and Tribal Affairs (MoBTA) said Shoja, accompanied by a delegation, travelled to Badakhshan and visited Ishkashim district. After meeting district officials, he inspected border areas. Shoja provided necessary recommendations on managing border affairs and improving coordination among relevant departments. He also assessed the situation in the border areas, praised the activities of border forces and stressed the need to take necessary measures to address their problems.
