State-owned slaughterhouse chief visits Iran for modern technology — Pajhwok
KABUL (Pajhwok): The head of the state-owned Meat and Dairy Production Company (Slaughterhouse) has travelled to Iran to explore the purchase of modern machinery and technology transfer for meat and dairy production and processing. Qari Rahmatullah Abbas, head of the company under the General Directorate of State-Owned Corporations, will visit factories and companies producing modern machinery and equipment for meat and dairy production, processing and packaging, as well as cold-storage facilities, the corporations in a statement said. During the visit, Abbas is also scheduled to meet Iranian officials and experts to discuss cooperation, technical experience-sharing and expanding joint projects. The trip aims to increase the company’s production capacity, standardise meat and dairy processing, improve quality and hygiene standards and promote domestic production through modern technology. The General Directorate of State-Owned Corporations said the company plans to use modern equipment and technology to increase the production, processing and packaging of meat and dairy products and provide high-quality, standard products.
