Suspected robber killed, another injured in Farah clash — Pajhwok

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Interior says an armed robber was killed, another was injured and a third was arrested during a clash with security forces in Shibkoh district of western Farah province. In a statement, the ministry said security and intelligence forces foiled an attempt by “robbers” to break into a house in the Hozak area of Shibkoh district during a timely operation. The statement added that one robber was killed, one injured, one arrested and another managed to escape during the clash. It said efforts were underway to arrest the escaped suspect. According to the ministry, four pistols, a Lexus vehicle, 45.5 million Iranian tomans and 5,000 afghanis were recovered from the suspects.
