Switzerland gives $2.4m in aid to Afghanistan — Pajhwok

KABUL (Pajhwok): The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) says Switzerland has provided $2.4 million to support its humanitarian activities in Afghanistan. In a statement issued on Monday, UNHCR said the funding would help address humanitarian needs and support the sustainable reintegration of returning migrants and vulnerable communities across the country. The UN agency thanked Switzerland for the contribution, saying the funding would enable it to respond quickly to changing humanitarian needs while supporting returnees and vulnerable communities in Afghanistan.
