Tawid travels to Tehran for int’l construction exhibition — Pajhwok

KABUL (Pajhwok): Kamaluddin Tawhid, head of the Afghanistan-Iran Joint Chamber of Commerce, has travelled to Tehran, the capital of Iran, to attend the 26th International Exhibition of Building and Construction Industry. The Afghanistan-Iran Joint Chamber said in a statement on X on Monday that Tawhid was leading a 30-member delegation comprising Afghan traders and private-sector representatives to Tehran. The chamber said the visit aimed to familiarise the delegation with economic and trade opportunities and the capabilities of Iran’s construction industry, strengthen relations and cooperation between the private sectors of the two countries, and create further opportunities for trade, investment and joint cooperation. According to the statement, during the visit, the Afghan business delegation will visit the Tehran International Construction Industry Exhibition and meet with Iranian traders, investors and other economic actors to discuss opportunities for cooperation and joint investment.
