According to CBS News, Trump recently told reporters that the US would target “Pickaxe Mountain,” which analysts believe may be linked to Iran’s nuclear programme. “The president said the US will ‘take out’ Pickaxe Mountain, a deeply buried site that analysts believe could be part of Iran’s nuclear programme. ‘We’re going to take out Pickaxe Mountain,’ he said. ‘Tell the Iranians to be ready. Let them know we’re coming. There’s not a damn thing they can do about it.’” The remarks come as tensions between Washington and Tehran have entered a third day following a ceasefire and the signing of a memorandum of understanding.
