Woman among 8 injured in Badghis traffic accidents — Pajhwok

FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): Eight people, including a woman, have been injured in two separate traffic accidents in western Badghis province, an official said on Sunday. Police spokesman Sediqullah Sediqi told Pajhwok Afghan News the first accident took place when two motorcycles collided in the Qarghantu area of the 3rd police district of Qala-i-Naw, the provincial capital, on Saturday afternoon. He said six people were wounded in the collision. He blamed the accident on speeding and reckless driving by the motorcyclists. The second accident occurred when a Flying Coach passenger vehicle veered off the road and overturned in the Sakhriyan area of Bala Murghab district on Saturday night, the police spokesman added. He said two people, including a woman, were injured in the incident.
