Woman arrested for allegedly killing husband in Jawzjan — Pajhwok

SHEBERGHAN (Pajhwok): A woman has been arrested on suspicion of killing her husband in northern Jawzjan province, a police official said on Tuesday. Qari Abdul Sattar Halimi, spokesman for the Jawzjan police headquarters, told Pajhwok Afghan News that intelligence and security forces in Khanqah district identified and arrested the woman in connection with her husband’s killing in Shah Mirza village. Halimi said the woman allegedly shot and killed her husband with a pistol around midnight on Monday. He added that security forces also recovered a pistol from the woman. The spokesman said an investigation into the incident was ongoing.
