2 killed, 3 injured in Khost-Gardez highway collision — Pajhwok

KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): Two people were killed and three others injured in a traffic accident on the Khost–Gardez highway in southeastern Khost province. Tahir Ahrar, spokesperson for the Khost Police, said the accident occurred at around 5am today in the Dowasaraka area of Ismailkhel and Mandozai district. He said a passenger vehicle, locally known as an “Axceles,” collided with a “Hino Mazda” truck, leaving two people dead and three others injured. Ahrar added that the injured were shifted to a hospital for treatment and their condition was reported to be stable. He urged drivers to observe traffic regulations, avoid reckless driving and follow road safety measures to prevent similar incidents.
