KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 26 people were killed in Russian attacks on an aid centre in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region on Tuesday, a media report said. The aid centre, located at a school in the village of Komyshuvakha in the Zaporizhzhia region, had been closed to students because the village is close to the front line, Al Jazeera reported. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russian forces had carried out two separate attacks. He said the first strike targeted a school being used as a humanitarian aid distribution centre, followed by a second attack on another building where local residents had taken shelter. No further details have so far been released about the number of people injured or the identities of the victims. Russia has not yet commented on the attacks.
