KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 19 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, despite US President Donald Trump announcing a plan he described as a “monumental step” towards peace and security in the enclave. The deaths on Sunday included three members of a family killed in an Israeli airstrike on a residential apartment in Al-Sousi Tower in western Gaza City, according to medical sources at Al-Shifa Hospital, Al Jazeera reported. The victims were Abdullah Abu Taif, 33, his pregnant wife, Abeer Anan, 29, and their five-year-old son, Azzam. Three members of another family were killed when an apartment in al-Qarara, northwest of Khan Younis, was hit. Three others were wounded, medical sources at Nasser Hospital said. Two people were also killed in an attack on a home near Deir el-Balah in central Gaza, while two brothers were killed in the same area as they rode a motorcycle. In northern Gaza, a Palestinian was killed after being directly targeted in Jabalia refugee camp.
