16 killed, over 130 wounded in Russian drone strikes in Ukraine — Pajhwok

KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 16 people have been killed and more than 130 wounded after several Russian drones struck a shopping centre in central Ukraine, authorities said, with President Volodymyr Zelenskiy vowing a response to what he described as an “act of barbarism.” Regional Governor Oleksandr Hanzha said 22 children were among those wounded in Friday’s daytime attack on Kryvyi Rih, Zelenskiy’s hometown, Reuters reported. “Twenty-nine people are in serious condition, including five children,” Hanzha said. He also posted a photo showing black smoke rising from a large industrial building. In an update early Saturday, Hanzha said nine people, including two children, were preliminarily reported missing as rescuers continued clearing rubble from the shopping centre.
